Swinging nightclubs and the bands that play in them come and go, especially in hotspots like the South Florida music scene of the 60s and 70s. A flow of creative energy surged from club to club, with the potential of a great performance around every smoky corner. Many of the moments from this place and time remain only as memories, but some of them were captured on vinyl.

One such album is Two Sides of the Trilogy, recorded by Lori Lee, Ike Reeves and Kurt (Walter) Uhlig, three lifelong friends and members of the Florida combo known as The Trilogy. This keepsake album sold at their long-running gig at The Beowulf has survived over the decades and has become a cult favorite. The album is a time capsule of cool: the musicianship is exceptional, and the dynamic between the trio brings an energy that has held up over time. And, through the joys of digital technology, this rare gem has been restored and made even better than ever as a CD.

This site is a tribute to the band, the album, and a great scene. Kick back, have fun, and dig the hip and wonderful world of The Trilogy. 1 - 2 - 3 next >>
