Lori was the singer with Ike's group, and that's how I met her. Ike must have said some very nice things about me as one evening Ike introduced me to Lori, and later that evening we went to an after hours party at a friend's house... Lori sat in my lap and said: "Your going to marry me." Two years later I did in 1973.

Meanwhile, we formed the "Trilogy" ... We had a local following that was quite large, and therefore played in all the top rooms in the area. We had a repertoire that no other group had in our area... we had medleys from many Broadway shows, including "Fiddler On The Roof" and "South Pacific", as well as many popular tunes from that era.

I'm not quite sure when the album was released... I think around 1973. We pressed (as I recall) 500 copies. We had many local columnists write very nice reviews about the album. We never contacted a major label concerning the album as we were just a local group and sold the album in the local area.

I don't recall the exact year that our group broke up, but I believe around 1977. In any case, I learned to play keyboards and Lori and I went on the road with a new show group called Critic's Choice. We continued to play the same type of music and had a good time on the road for quite a few years.
