Special Note: This record is the first time we have found Nimoy's music publishing company, Control, listed on the record's label. Control is used on all of Nimoy's songs and songs written by associates of Nimoy.
Variations: The packaging is the thin, shiny European style board with poly bag inner sleeve. Photo on front is now centered and tightly cropped, yellow DOT logo and stereo logo in corners. Print quality is rather poor, dark and over saturated. The back has information for two of Nimoy's other albums in addition to other DOT releases.Content is identical to the U.S. release.

Leonard Nimoy: Space Odyssey
Pickwick/33 SPC-3199
Year Released: 1972
Pickwick Records, along with K-Tel, was a major budget-bin label in the 70s. Much of their catalog consisted of "sound alike" recordings (hit songs of the day sung and performed by session musicians), children's records and of course reissued and redesigned LPs. The fidelity on these and most reissued records is not very good. This one is worth having, however, for the groovy cover art by the artist known as "Daniel" (see lower right corner).

Mr. Spock Presents Music From Outer Space
Rediffusion R.I.M. ZS-156
Year Released: 1973
Liner Notes: Ron Edwards
Graphics: Stephen Hill Design Services
This reissue is the same as the LP, Leonard Nimoy Presents Mr. Spock's Music From Outer Space, only this time Leonard's name is omitted from the cover and appears much smaller on the back. The release of this LP coincides with the syndicated premier of 'Star Trek' on British television. The Rediffusion label released mostly background television scores but also released "sound alike" LPs in much the same manner as Pickwick. The record jacket is nicely designed and made of a thin cardboard with super shiny gloss finish similar to many British LPs of the time,

Outer Space/Inner Mind
Famous Twinsets PAS-2-1030
Two LP Set
Year Released: 1974
This two record set is another compilation of low fidelity recordings. These sets must have been made from something other than the source tapes and/or pushed out so fast that quality control was not an issue. This set is interesing in that there were several other LPs released featuring other artists in this series. Nimoy shares company with Pat Boone's Greatest Hymns, The Andrew Sisters and Liberace In Concert. The inside gatefold sleeve has a fairly lengthy biography. The cover has some very well-done airbush artwork of the Starship Enterprise.

If I Had A Hammer b/w Sunny
MAX Records 002
Year Released: 1974
Made in Turkey
This is a very odd record. Both songs are from the LP release The Way I Feel. Judging from the choice of songs and the cover art, we are assuming it is a bootleg until further information can be found.
